Monday 29th Jul
Well that is another Townsville to Cairns bike ride done and dusted. Seemed to be a lot harder this year, not sure if that is because I forgot about last year or I am a year older. Made it the whole way and didn't need to get into the support car at any stage. 

Great to have my family there at the finish made it more memorable. 

Like I said last year I will not be doing it again so thanks to all for your support and donations.

Casual Sunday Morning

With only 4 weeks to go the training rides are getting longer. Just under 70kms last Sunday 

Sunday Session

Thursday 6th Jun
Well training is in full throttle now with a mere 68km ride over the weekend. Extremely hard with the headwind but got there in the end. Time for family & friends to start donating for this wonderful cause.

Training Ride 1

Thursday 18th Apr
Well the group training has begun with a mild 53km ride last Sunday. Only the start of more pain to come but well worth it to ride for a great cause.

Raising Funds

I am taking part in the Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride to raise funds for Children's Cancer Institute.
Every week in Australia, 20 children are diagnosed with cancer and sadly, three young lives will be lost to the disease. Children's
Cancer Institute is the only independent medical research institute wholly dedicated to childhood cancer.
Together, we can help more children with cancer not only survive but go on to live long and healthy lives.
