Supporting the Big W Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride 2010 is supporting research into finding a cure for childhood cancer.
All funds raised are donated to the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia (CCIA), the only independent medical research institute in Australia dedicated to research into the causes, better treatments, cure and prevention of childhood cancer.
The CCIA rely on the generosity of the community to support their research. The Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride has supported this research since 1999 and raised over $2.1 million, with over $560,000 raised in 2009. We hope you will join us to raise the much needed funds to help eradicate this devastating disease.
Together we can save the lives of children with cancer and stop their suffering.
